This @Cos_dEstournel blanc 2016 is lovely. Notes of green apple, yellow fruit, peach, lemongrass and smoke. Good acidity. Quite long. The #Semillon adds a touch of roundness to the dominant #Sauvignon blanc. #Medoc #Bordeaux #wine

This @Cos_dEstournel blanc 2016 is lovely. Notes of green apple, yellow fruit, peach, lemongrass and smoke. Good acidity. Quite long. The #Semillon adds a touch of roundness to the dominant #Sauvignon blanc. #Medoc #Bordeaux #wine
Bought this @ChateauPalmer 1995 EP for $65 and kept it cellared at 12C. Currently in its sweet spot. 12.5%ABV. Forest floor, truffle tertiary fragrance, wet tea leaves, dark chocolate red berries, cassis and cedar. Very elegant and delicate. #Bordeaux #Margaux #wine #Medoc

Pavillon Blanc 2016. Amazing nose. Honeysuckle, apricots, pear, green apple. This #wine is creamy and rich with oak. Ripe #Sauvignon blanc. Lively acidity, long lemony finish, some tropical accents. What the #Medoc offers as finest white #Bordeaux #Margaux

My #wine rep let me have a limited selection from @DomaineLamy #Burgundy #Chardonnay Hubert Lamy has very small holdings in #Puligny #Chassagne and great parcels in #SaintAubin Olivier Lamy’s wines are low intervention and a very honest expression of the terroir. One of my favs.

My #wine rep let me have a limited selection from @DomaineLamy #Burgundy #Chardonnay Hubert Lamy has very small holdings in #Puligny #Chassagne and great parcels in #SaintAubin Olivier Lamy’s wines are low intervention and a very honest expression of the terroir. One of my favs.
I think I hit the mother lode with this purchase of #wine from Dagueneau, one of my favourite producers of #Sauvignon Blanc in the #Loire Amazing choice of #Pouilly Fumé from the 2019, 2020 and 2022 #vintage

Mature (sort of) white #Bordeaux can be lovely when it’s not oxidized. Both very good but @D_de_Chevalier seems fresher. Maybe its the Diam 30 cork over the regular cork. Beautiful citrus flavours and quite long. Very fine. #Medoc #wine #Sauvignon blanc #Semillon

I just wanted a nice sipping #wine for Sunday…. Raveneau #Chablis Drouin #Chassagne Laguiche and Jadot #Corton Charlemagne, all 2017 are oxydized. Latour Girard #Meursault is #corked #Chardonnay #Burgundy Think it has something to do with the year?
