In my opinion, any belief that people use to act irresponsibly is damaging, regardless of backgrounds. But I can't help to agree here, their attitude towards their own spirituality is irresponsible.

I mean yeah. We should be handling this. But some people - lots of people, neglect their responsibilities using their faith as a crutch.

I've seen some media just play around with these numbers. Saying lifespan in the US increased but they are referring to the average lifespan of people with chronic illness only.
