I also think the idea that someone who has sector experience doesn’t have an axe to grind or agenda to push is flawed. Especially when conflicts of interests are fairly weak in the commons.

Feels like a by product of the funding. Schools and hospitals come from local funding which doesn’t have demand until the houses arrive. Needs broader strategy from stretched planning departments.
