I'll wait to pass judgement when I see some gameplay. What I had issue was with the embedded brand marketing. I saw the brand logos and thought I misclicked and was watching an ad.

You know I played flashback heaps but never got to play fade to black. I remember knowing it existed but never saw in the wild to play or pick up. Might track down a rom and give it a play.

Oh man that sewer level scared the crap out of me as a kid. Wandering aimlessly in while trying to find the cylinders at the same time being randomly attacked from underwater.

Disagree. Final scene with Tidus and Yuna, Opera in FF6, the scene in FF9 with Vivi and black waltz 3, Aeris death in FF7.

Space invaders, galaga became popular due to their challenge, not because they were a easy ride. If you want an experience that doesn't challenge you, watch a movie.

It's a goal in game design from day one. Challenging yourself is fun. Completing something that doesn't challenge you doesn't give the same satisfaction.
