Looks like TT is coming back online already but that was just enough time for me to realize that I really like this app. I think I’ll stick around.

Biden admin was clear about not enforcing the TT ban so I believe that the servers shutdown for a reason. This indicates a 1.) full sale of TT including the algorithm or 2.) partial sale w/o bytedance algorithm. Both would require downtime for US servers for infrastructure transfer and/or updates.

I fear I will now spend even more time on my phone sifting through several apps with differing algorithms just to get the updates I need.
