to be fair, there are ways i can still become a historian even with a bad memory. im certainly not the first. i just need to practice and work on my retention skills as a whole. i DO remember things, just not as much as i should; it usually lacks too much detail.

autism made me fixate on the most niche historical topic as a child, but then proceeded to give me the worst information retention imaginable so i could never do anything with it. i have similar issues with my other interests as well. my special interest bone is broken

not to be a snowflake projecting modern ideas onto history (or whatever) but i hate confederates. and if you fly it next to the american flag, you are not only an inhumane ghoul, but you also have the comprehension skills of an earthworm that got stepped on but is still alive somehow.
