It was lovely that four of the five Wisden Cricketers of the Year made it to Tuesday's dinner at Lord's to mark the launch of the 2025 Almanack - Liam Dawson, Sophie Ecclestone, Gus Atkinson and Dan Worrall. (Jamie Smith couldn't make it.) Thanks to Clare Adams for the photo.

The Crowe-Thorpe Trophy, contested as of tomorrow by New Zealand and England. It's made from two bats: the Gunn & Moore used by Crowe to score a century at Lord's in 1994, and the Kookaburra used by Thorpe to make hundreds at Auckland and Wellington in 1996-97.
