The California Nebula (NGC 1499) is a very large emission nebula photographed with my WFOV Petzval astrograph to cover it in it's entirety and rendered using the Hubble palette showing ionized Sulfur as reds, Hydrogen as yellows and Oxygen as blues, taken 11/20/25.
