Used a tutorial on YT for this winter landscape. I don't know what's going on with the background. It was supposed to be very watery & I held it upside down to let the colors & water run.
The background has virtually no color... does this mean it had too much water?

Painted this #scene last week. Got frustrated with the paper warping and the sky turned out like crap 😕 #learning a new trick with each painting I do!
One thing I can't get a grasp on is shadows and light. 41 days since I started #watercolor!

I always told myself that all creatives must have started their craft when they were young, and 27 was too late to start.
September 30th, 2024, I painted my first ever watercolour scenery.
My most recent was painted November 5th, 2024.
Excited to see how far I come this time next year! 🥰
