I can’t believe insuring this bike was so cheap! Adding it to my existing bike policy only cost £46! Brilliant 😃

Can confirm I’m now the proud owner of a Himalayan 411, enjoyed the ride home through some flooded roads.
Thanks everyone for your replies and knowledge 🙌

Also what were the minor issues?

It sounds like it should be a decent machine capable of almost anything then with a bit of common sense and some mechanical knowledge. If you don’t mind me asking how tall are you and is the seat height on the 2019 model ok for someone under 5.10’

I’m riding a Himalayan tomorrow, looking forward to it, I’ve no misconceptions about the power, I have a bike for that. I’m after something that will take me in relative comfort to a green lane / off road track and have some fun for a while. I’ve read that the 2020 model has some minor issues?

Thanks, I’ve heard the front brake isn’t too good on the Himalaya, I’ll try a bleed and some better pads.

Yes, it’s a 2020 Himalayan I’m looking at 👌

Thanks for that, I’ve got an optimate already and the one I’m looking at has a full history and around 5k miles.
Might look to upgrade the rear shock and chain as I would like to do some off road.

I’m looking at a 2020 Himalayan, they look good, fairly basic to work on and bloody good value for money.

Thanks, it’s the no frills ruggedness I like about them, I’ve got a fast road bike and fancy something that I can mess about on and have a play off road.
