Can confirm I’m now the proud owner of a Himalayan 411, enjoyed the ride home through some flooded roads. Thanks everyone for your replies and knowledge 🙌

It sounds like it should be a decent machine capable of almost anything then with a bit of common sense and some mechanical knowledge. If you don’t mind me asking how tall are you and is the seat height on the 2019 model ok for someone under 5.10’

I’m riding a Himalayan tomorrow, looking forward to it, I’ve no misconceptions about the power, I have a bike for that. I’m after something that will take me in relative comfort to a green lane / off road track and have some fun for a while. I’ve read that the 2020 model has some minor issues?

Thanks for that, I’ve got an optimate already and the one I’m looking at has a full history and around 5k miles. Might look to upgrade the rear shock and chain as I would like to do some off road.

Thanks, it’s the no frills ruggedness I like about them, I’ve got a fast road bike and fancy something that I can mess about on and have a play off road.
