The fact 'low noise' fireworks are freely and easily available yet nobody in the UK seems to want to use them, indicates that these loud fireworks lovers are just sad blokes who get excited by things that go 'bang'.

It's entertaining but better than Star Trek? Absolutely not, not by a long shot. Plot, aesthetic and characters all clearly 'borrowed' from Star Trek. It's an homage with tired gags thrown in, at best.
