I'd recommended watching folks play late game starts. It changed my perspective, and that's someone in the same boat as you (still have two decks left to gold stake).

The fact that he's on ante 18 means he's got two and a bit times as many shops as a normal 8 ante run. Plus later shops are generally more productive than early shops, since you have more money.

Have you tried MtG Forge? It's at least got AI so it's slightly less saddening
