I’d like to think that given recent results, the parting of the ways with DH wasn’t unplanned and we had someone lined up. That’s what a competent club would be doing. I’m not sure any of the names put forward will have any positive effect on the team, and some the opposite with the fan base ☹️

I think Derek Adams went to Plymouth last week, so he’d be out. I see Mark Sampson is the bookies favourite, or at least was earlier. If he comes in, that’s me done with the club until he leaves.

Can we bring in the first one ideally before May, in the 70s and 80s we survived a lot by getting club chairman bladdered on their visits to Newport. Was such a good away day no-one wanted to vote us out.

We’ve just said the same. You would have to be seriously desperate to take this on. There is no way you can enhance a reputation unless you pull off a sort of miracle that occurs very, very rarely.

Nice guy, left with an impossible situation because of the lack of funding, signings that were made before his arrival and lack of support in the transfer window. Our problems are far deeper than DH and are unlikely to be resolved though. Hatswell and (hopefully) Kendall can get up the road too.
