2. Like limiting throws over to first base you can limit the use of IBBs to one or two per game for strategic purposes like setting up a double play. That would eliminate the five walks in a row Schneider issued to Ohtani the other night.

Here's two suggestions.

1. If an umpire deems the pitcher pitching around the hitter by not throwing strikes, the hitter and base runners each get two bases.
