I worry for my younger sister because she's stuck in all that and she'll probably grow up to be traumatized like I'm forced to just accept that she's off limits until she can make her own life decisions. Hopefully she comes out the other side wise enough to leave.

Yeah, to be an ex-JW is to just accept the fact that you have no bio-family anymore and you're just forced to deal with it. Having not talked with anyone in my family in over 2 years feels both freeing (because they were abusive) and isolating. At least they wont give me shit for being a woman.
