Um, this is going well. Way better than last time I tried to do a study on Yoshitaka Amano. I'm almost afraid to try laying down colors cuz it took me so long to understand his shapes.

I don't know why, but the image of Ciara Kelly descending to a diving board while possessed by a demon, looking completely strung out really stuck in my head. There was no outfit description so I ended up letting her be Ginger Spice. Sharing now cuz I don't think I'll finish it.

Was listening to the top 40 playlist on Spotify (I think) at the hairstylist and ended up ranting about how if art is going to use other art, it needs to be in dialogue with that other art, not just using it as a hook. Someone, please turn me off.

If I were rich, I would pay to have SO many things translated. German musicals, Albanian Punk, Kazakh comics. I want to see them all. I'd allow others to experience them, maybe on as "pay as you can" system so money goes back to the creators.
I just think we're all so hungry and the world is full.
