I have two extended family members - one is an anesthesiologist and the other a nurse anesthetist. Both seem highly intelligent and are rabid Trump supporters. I used to think it was a lack of critical thinking skills but now I think it’s just the racism.

The campaign didn’t really need to. I think evangelicals had a taste of the power they’d been seeking for decades and wanted that feeling again. No need to “hold their noses” the second time.

We had these growing up and I adored them! I remember reading the story of the Mary Celeste when I was around 5yo and that being the first time feeling scared and absolutely fascinated with something I read. What a wonderful find.
