In 1952, Rosalind Franklin confirmed the discovery of the DNA double helix. She used her mastery of X-ray crystallography DNA imagery to take the first clear photo of its helical structure. Her photos were stolen by male scientists Watson & Crick and findings published without crediting her. (1/2)
