Not only do we have a Black Bond passport this year (hit 2 or more of the stores, get a chance to win a $100 gift card), but also there'll be scavenger hunts and quizzes, bookmark stations, swag baskets/totes, free books with minimum purchase, a prize wheel, and so many local authors!

Please help us spread the word to the government and local MPs by explaining how valuable your local bookstore or publishing house is. A tariff on incoming books from the U.S. would be detrimental to the entire Canadian Book Industry, which is an important cultural and community-building ecosystem.

The majority of books sold in Canadian bookstores, including books by Canadian authors, are published by multinational publishers whose Canadian divisions rely on U.S. printers and warehouses for distribution.
