Sometimes I panic when I’m halfway through a book and realize I have no idea what anyone looks like because I skimmed every description like “yeah yeah I’ll figure it out later” and now it’s definitely too late 🙃

I actually wish more fantasy books avoided maps. I know they're classic, but sometimes they give away plot scope or travel paths before I even start chapter one. Anyone else feel this way, or do you love poring over them first?
