That’s true. Brick facings are used sometimes to cover less attractive sidings, but brick buildings are not safe in earthquake country.

I’m a little phobic about snails, slugs, anything that crawls and has no hair, scales, or other non-slimy covering. The very worst, for me, are banana slugs. They can and do grow to 12 inches long. Where they are found, they’re much too plentiful.
