That I began to loved my apartment during the day, which I only used to see on weekends. The light and the nature outside the windows made me love it more. And getting to know the neighbors.

Oh I had forgotten that each part had titles! Now trying to remember the cadence of when they came out. I think it was one a month. I remember we had floor displays for all six but we shipped it filled with the first one

King had that common thing in many of his novels of a character with an extra sense. See Mother Abigail in The Stand as well. But like you, I never connected them to one thread, they were all different.

There is no ‘one King universe’. He created hundreds.

The original ‘book’ came out in 6 parts, paperbacks. Worked for the publisher at the time and have such fond memories of when one of the manuscript parts dropped, I’d print it out and read it that night at home laying on my couch and tossing the pages to the floor when I finished them. 30 years ago
