I'm just saying I know that marketers emphasize building brands on social media by posting on specific themes, but to avoid burnout and avoid hating your own sm presence, I think it's ultimately more important to post what you're excited about alongside the things people know you for.

I think it's a balancing act! In the before times, I lost hundreds of followers when I livetweeted watching a certain show, but I also gained hundreds of followers and made friendships that have lasted for years, and people still go back and read those posts. Lots of ppl value your personal passion.

it's more feasible to access it because the U.S. auto industry spent $$$ and decades lobbying for a car-first, car-only public infrastructure that included PR campaigns framing cars as inherently American. That's *why* public transit is so derided today. yaleclimateconnections.org/2023/10/amer...
American society wasn’t always so car-centric. Our future doesn’t have to be, either. » Yale Climate Connections
The surprising history of cars in the U.S. offers hope for a shift toward more climate-friendly transportation options.

YEAH, JOHN, IT IS A BELOVED STORY. THAT'S WHY IT FUCKING SUCKS TO BE A TRANS PERSON SUDDENLY OSTRACIZED FROM EVERYTHING YOU LOVE ABOUT IT BECUASE ITS CREATOR TURNED OUT TO BE A FUCKING GOBLIN, YOU FUCKFACE

I just think that if I, an HP fan for 2 decades, can walk away, so can he.
December 3, 2025 at 8:39 PM
It seems like this ABSURDLY OBVIOUS point shouldn't require spelling out, but it's something we had to spell out *over and over again* when the new HP game came out 2 years ago, and people still refused to get it.

You giving this franchise money=you actively giving transphobic organizations $.

"By now you’re probably wondering … who is paying this WIRED reporter to pump up the prospects of a new startup?"

Well at least you're self-aware about how fully this reads like a giant free ad.
