I hate “carnal aspects” in movies and I still went to see this one? Weird comment. I went because I heard it was a good & culturally important movie. Not to watch people have sex (which I didn’t even know happened), not even for vampires which I also usually don’t like seeing.

Highly unlikely Prim was a setup, given that unlike with Haymitch where there was chaos we were actually there when Prim was reaped and it was normal. Also there’s no reason for the Capital to do that.

Which is why I resoundly condemn both the nation state law and Israeli policy in the West Bank. Because I believe that all people, whether they be Israeli, Palestinian, or otherwise, deserve the same human rights. You apparently think it’s okay to boycott someone over where they were born.

You mean people who respect the value and worth of all people and genuinely, unselectively believe in human rights? Yeah, some, but I was told there was more of that here. So far that’s not panned out.

She was miscast as the queen in Snow White, she was good in Wonder Woman. But regardless of whether she’s good at acting there’s a broader issue with saying anyone of a certain nationality is a bad person.

Maybe memes aren’t actually the way to have discussions about world events. Why so much energy on hating on Gal Gadot who doesn’t even live in Israel anymore and not on like, amplifying the voices of Israeli-Palestinian anti-occupation/pro-peace groups?

It was actual footage of the attacks and she hosted it because of all the people who were outright denying them. That doesn’t mean supporting any war action. She’s been advocating for the release of the hostages, and in Israel, it’s mostly the anti-war crowd doing that.

At least you acknowledge the role the British played in the whole mess, but seriously, posting that Gal was a sniper when she never saw combat is not helping free the people and is actually drowning out the legitimate news there about the settler mobs attacking a peace activist.
