Started this series in 1999. Parts of it gave me nightmares but I was hooked on the characters and the incredible world building. I feel like Tad Williams doesn’t get nearly enough recognition in the fantasy genre. Excited to start this! (As always, terrified my favorite characters won’t make it.)

The Daevabad Chronicles series is excellent. Hard to choose a favorite because I have read some incredible books this year but this trilogy has just…gah, so good.
