For Sample Saturday, I had a rummage in my Les Indémodables sack. My faves are Rose de Jamal, Chypre Azural (which I’ve been through a bottle of), Haiti and Iris 💙

What fairies smell like when they’re attending Oberon’s ball.
Dusita’s Rosarine is a sweet rose treat, perfect for beating the winter blues.

The book I read this week (4/5 ~ a thriller with lots of knowing winks to writers); and the perfume I wore most (this isn’t my bottle but my partner is sleeping!); AND I got two compliments, one being so enthusiastic my sleeve was touched!

I meant to post this from last Friday! Asking ChatGPT to pick my fragrance.

A book that feels like a fragrance: The Party by Tessa Hadley. Young women smell different than they did in post-war Britain. This book is so Jicky with some dirty sheets, funk and attic dust thrown in. I loved this novella about two sisters’ throwing caution to the wind. #perfumesky #booksky 5🌟

My hands sometimes pick my perfumes without thought, but my brain labours over my next read. Which would you pick?

Need to smell responsible today. Trying to decide between these two. How much thought goes into what perfume you pick for the day? Sometimes my hands make the choice over my brain ✌🏼🧠
