yess! I think about it actually all of the time. I read it back in eighth grade and it’s one of those books that made me absolutely sob.

I think it depends on the story you want to tell. As a reader, I’ll always gravitate towards stories that have either a clear end or where I can infer the ending through the story told. There’s space for ambiguity, but being totally in the dark only leaves me feeling frustrated and unsatisfied.

I love audiobooks too! It takes so much skill for someone to narrate them so I really appreciate every voice actor who works to make those stories come to life! I’ve really enjoyed listening to sci-fi this year in particular :-)

This and and my phone’s Notes app are crucial to my brainstorming phase or simply when I have those ‘ah-hah!’ moments.
