I think about this quote a lot now-a-days as I watch people be so "utterly devastated" that the country is this way, hopeless about what they can do, but they've been casually breaking bread with friends and family who've supported these policies all along. You haven't even started to fight yet.

I enjoyed it as a Marvel film. It felt like a return to the original movies sequel format. Action, obvious villains, moral dilemma, and life threatening danger that doesn't conpletely blind side us. Everything can't be to the level of the Thanos snap.

I'll never forgive Morgan Freeman for saying the way to get rid of racism is to "stop talking about it". So many yt people have used that stupid quote against Black people in conversation, like it's more valid because it came from a Black man. Next time just hush and drive Miss Daisy, sir.

What's lost in some conversations about the TikTok ban is, people aren't mad the app is going away. Vine was once big and even it sun setted. People are mad that the U.S. government is using their power to kill an app for what is obviously false pretenses. This is about a misuse of political power.

It's scary knowing that no matter how you raise your sons or how you see your brothers grow up - under strong women with good values - they can go out into this world and pick up a brand of misogyny and "red pill" thinking that is completely contrary to what you taught them.
