Likes cats, books- mostly romance, and Lego.
Sorry to hear it was a bust!Because a lot of books I’ve read recently have been indy instead of trad, I find it’s harder to buy used. If you’re ever near Manassas, VA, McKays Used Books has a huge cheap romance section (most books are >5 yrs old but<$2) & usually some recent stuff for a few $ more

Used bookstores can be hit and miss with what’s available, but a few good authors that I think I have seen recently include Adriana Herrera, Sarah MacLean, Talia Hibbert, and Mia Sosa. Ilona Andrews might be good for paranormal- especially the Hidden Legacy or The Edge series.

If you look under settings >accessibility, there is an option to require alt text before posting. I find it’s a good reminder!

Please resign as Minority Leader! You can’t control your caucus!
November 10, 2025 at 9:12 PM
Unless you publicly call to replace Schumer as Minority Leader, you are complicit with folding. Senate Dems need new leadership now!

tomorrow we're all gonna call our senators and ask them when they'll be pushing schumer / durbin out as leaders 🫡

Thank you for not folding! You should call on @kaine.senate.gov to vote no, too.

And please replace @schumer.senate.gov as Leader. He is clearly not meeting this moment. If Senate Dems are going to fold without preserving healthcare subsidies, why put Feds and SNAP recipients through all this.

As a constituent, I’m so incandescently angry right now. If you are folding for nothing, why put federal employees and SNAP recipients through all that?

I just spent the last three months knocking on doors for Spanburger, but I will never knock on doors for anyone feckless enough to vote for this.

I inhaled this series over a weekend, and highly recommend it. It feels really clever and even as the reader puts together what is really going on, I could see why Ada was able to fool Rian. I hope there are more in the series.

This book is a delight, but it’s not a romance. It’s the first of three novellas with these characters, all of which have a fun-filled heist feel with smart characters planning to come out ahead, even as they work together.

I built this after being inspired by some book-shaped MOC at Brickfair.

I love Olivia Dade’s characters because they seem like real people, not fantasies.

This book was a delightfully fluffy read that was a good escape from the horrors that currently abound. Jennette finally finds her person, and the fact he is an alien is somehow even more perfect.

Trapped on Earth during a sightseeing trip gone wrong, Space Con is way for Tamzir to finally relax about appearing as himself, as he blends in with the cosplayers.

Tamzir trusts his chat group friends with his secret, but is worried about getting found out by others.
