I'm a bit saddened/frustrated/angered by Andrew Sullivan's latest NYT OpEd re: LGBTQ+ rights in the US. But I think this post, from the response comments section, most accurately reflects how I feel about Mr. Sullivan and his ilk.

In this image you can see that his right eye is blackened and there is a mark (bruise or cut) under his left eye. Not sure why you’re trying to discredit that he was attacked.
