Michigan is in jeopardy. There is no strong well known Dem candidate. Having had a Dem for the last 8 years it's easy to blame everything you don't like on Dems. Only hope is if the Repubs nominate some crazy person, but if the nominate is a nice looking not crazy white man, Michigan is in trouble.

Seriously, look at your last comments. It's all about being the victim. It's not our job to convince you to vote/participate in our system that's your responsibility. It's not our fault you dont participate it's your obligation as an American. Work to change what's not working, that's all there is.

Maybe we have Nazis running the gov because your generation is too busy to vote cause the candidate wasn't perfect enough. It's not about asking for something better it's about doing something. In case you failed to notice it's our generation in walkers standing up to ICE while you dance on tik tok.

What confuses me about your generation is the whining. "You all didn't fix everything" Boomers came in organizing working to change things for the better & we're going out that way. Do something! enough with the "we can't-everything's so harder for us, you don't understand"

The 60's 70's, millions marched on Washington, forced end of Vietnam War, basis for, womens rights, civil rights, disabled rights all put in place. All done with no cell phones, and in fact those rights being dismantled in the age of cell phones. Just saying there waS something important lost.

Yes, well a bunch of us lived many decades without the internet. There is a freedom of going out on the world every day when you don't h have the option of immediate input on any issue that comes to mind. You focus is on who is with you and what you are doing. Its a whole change on consciousness.

Possible consequences of the internet disappearing.. reading books, libraries, talking to people, more attention on local "goings on" less on world-national events, connecting w/people, less loneliness, more physical activity, volunteerism rises as people seek new ways to connect, more happiness.

Creat a category where Trans athletes compete against other Trans athletes, establishing their own records/accomplishments in sports. Sports goes to great lengths to create a sense of parity limiting drugs, weight classes, ages etc. On a visceral level people are not ready to see it as fair yet.

Maybe he found out that...Real jobs where you have to really do things based on what is really happening and then really asses the outcomes to really understand how you are doing and what if any changes you should make.... are really hard. Who knew?

In hindsight his tv shows look different. Doll House played very close to the edge o voyeuristic use of women (occasionally men) as sexual toys doing the will of the men who bought/rented her. He would step over the line- then reel it back. Thinking he was getting his kicks creeps me out.

Thank you. I didn't know that. While I am skeptical that such a bill would get passed, it is reassuring to know that issue is known and looking to be fixed.

First they dehumanize illegal then legal immigrants, then certain religions, the homeless will be next, then those having mental health issues, If Trump/Heritage can get that far they will go for the big piece..women. criminalize, minimalize & control them.

I agree. But please don't give the impression that having Medicare is a recipe for coverage. With monthly premiums for basic Medicare, the additional policy you have to buy that extends coverage & then prescription coverage I pay over $400 a month & there is still a deductible. So it needs fixin 2.
