for those curious. I've only read 24 of these, with some of them being years ago. I'd love insight into some of the other books if y'all have them, but at least from the ones I've read, I'm just flabbergasted!
Sapphic Horror

corn maze!! Is there mention of a sapphic relationship? Yes. Does that mean it's sapphic horror? NO!!!

I'm so just gonna start making my own lists after this, the more books are added, the angrier i get 😭

a simple book list shouldnt bother me this much but first i noticed multiple books with nonbinary protagonists being included, and then i realized other books included were just entirely missing the point.

What Stalks Among Us is *queer* horror. The protagonists are queer and the plot is a freaky+

by Hiron Ennes would not be sapphic horror.

I wouldnt even consider a book with a sapphic MC where the relationship/partner is not a main part of the story to be SAPPHIC horror because its not the POINT, especially since this "sapphic horror list" is specifically focused on messy girls and such.

side characters or pairings as reasoning to include them on this list.

that is NOT sapphic horror. books on the list that ARE sapphic horror would be something like BLOOM by Delilah S Dawson or Queen of Teeth by Hailey Piper.

Needless to say, What Moves the Dead by T Kingfisher or Leech +
