Yes, it does! Cochin Ocean has a lighthouse. (It’s not a real ocean, it’s Jackfish Lake, Saskatchewan.) There is also a public beach.

Today I read Wonder Drug: LSD in the Land of Living Skies. It’s a short graphic nonfiction book about the use of LSD in psychiatric research in Weyburn, Saskatchewan in the 1950s.

Happy birthday, Maud Lewis (1903-1970). She lived a life of poverty and pain from juvenile arthritis, selling her art for no more than $10 per picture. Now her work sells at auction for tens of thousands of dollars.
