I may have enjoyed reading Le chiem jaune in middle school if Maigret had looked like this.😁
Seriously, Maigret's physique is part of the series like Poirot's mustache, I don't see the point. (except for money)

Ça y est, j'ai commencé Les aventures de Ruben Jablonski et c'est génial.
Il raconte des choses affreuses sur un ton badin, ce qui les rend encore plus glaçantes et il nous emmène en Roumanie, proche de l'Ukraine et de la Moldavie.
J'ai lu 65 pages sur 300 mais c'est très prometteur.
