What are your thoughts on prospects playing multiple positions rather than focusing on one? (Winokur, Martin, DeBarge etc) Does the variety help when they finally focus on one? Does it hamper their fielding development by not focusing on one position? Does it add value internally? Externally?

what are the logistics around floating a player during the draft? are they telling a player they'll draft him later and the player agrees to a specific bonus? are the player's agents telling other teams he won't sign? Thanks! - Jeff
