Finally a box for #Catan with the lid doubling as a card rack.

Here is the full set of #Catan pieces from my self-designed and built laser-cut set. More parts than I realized when I started out. Next up is a storage box.

Two options for a laser cut #Catan gold (wild) hex. I like the one on the right better.

First set of laser cut #Catan resource tiles are for ore (black rock). Toppers looking good.

I’ve been away for quite some time, and it’s time to start documenting my laser cut Catan set. Here’s a quick image of the hex lower sections and their interlock shape.

Working on a series of laser-cut Book Nook kits. Relatively easy but time-consuming builds make for some interesting and satisfying results when I need something light to work on.

Had to cancel a sightseeing trip to Washington DC. Pretty disappointing since it’s always been a good time at the museums. But given the current climate there…gonna be a no for now.

The third and final entry (for now!) in the laser cut board game series features an original game called ‘Apologies!’

Pine plywood and stain.

Sorry! if you don’t recognize it…it’s sure to be a hit.

Next up in the laser cut game board series are three variations on chess: dragon, classic, and battlefield.

Pretty happy how these turned out.

Here’s the first in a series of laser cut game boards. Starting with the classic backgammon. Pine plywood and stain, four layers.

Finished another of Jack Carter’s amazing laser cut builds. This time around, it’s the Panzer. No, I didn’t motorize it.

Did JD Vance kill Pope Francis? Probably not.

But it’s a bit scary that I can’t 100% rule it out.

Would definitely keep him away from the papal successor, just in case.

Big shout out to Jack Carter for the StuG III Ausf. F plans available on Thingiverse. Took a shot at this one with 2.5mm plywood.

Made a lot of mistakes. Didn’t get the rescale just right. Might try my hand at another of his detailed models.

Have some conflicting feelings about Spirit Island. While I’m usually a fan of cooperative games, I struggle when players have individualized rules by which to play.

Lots going on in this game; very complicated. I’m not convinced it’s a winnable game.
