I only use DXO for De-Noising, I cannot vouch for any of its other uses. But I also get bouncing off of RawTherapee, it's.....a very different experience.

outside of "it's not the bad thing...." it also has Wavelet functions which are incredibly complex and powerful, and abstracted versions like "Contrast by Detail Level" actually exceed e.g. Lightroom's tooling, at least compared to LR Classic I compare it to, without much of a lift.

I don't know if you'll like it, but I use RawTherapee for my RAW editing. One thing I can't swing with it is good chroma noise reduction/re-sharpening at high ISOs so I do send stuff through DXO first if I was really pushing it.
