It might give them a point, instead: "Outrage: the democratic vote of the British people overruled !!!", kind of tabloid headlines. I reckon that, in order to be acceptable, there should be a referendum, with larger participation AND a larger majority. Both things are not guaranteed.

I have a question: is this the right moment to attack Farage on this, given how far we are from the next elections? E.g. any incident caused by an asylum seeker / immigrant in the next three years could restore the Reform's polls (with the help of their friends in the media) ...

From every angle, as soon as Brexit is discussed rationally, the whole argument collapses. This is why they didn't want to touch it. Now, with Russia, China and the USA all trying to destabilise what's left of the liberal democracies, everyone can see that the emperor has no clothes.

Problem is, the polls ATM show Farage to be the next PM, ... a new referendum should have a larger participation (difficult) AND a larger majority (more likely)

Blaming and vilifying immigrants is a way of seizing and retaining power. Anybody different can be a suitable enemy, but the most suitable are those with no power, no money.

Hehe, English and Spanish are popular languages across the globe, that helps

And, I fear, a 10 year long process with Farage as PM in waiting, what could possibly go wrong?

Ok, thanks! So it was a scammer, I m starting to learn, hehe. Looks like I need to authenticate myself with the platform to DM, ... not to reply.

A double agent, harvesting kompromat among the rich and powerful. Or maybe he was an independent, therefore bumped off before he could embarrass too many of the said rich and powerful.

Are you sure that the EU wants the UK back? With Farage the next PM in waiting?

Like everywhere. Media go where the money is and the extreme right has endless supply. Where does all this money come from? Fossil fuel industry is a usual suspect, ...

What other question should be better asked?

Farage has not met his match, recently. The last time he was challenged and shaken I remember was with James O'brien. I think that his adolescent nazi sympathies are lame. Ask him rather about Russia links, admiration for Trump, Andrew Tate, the Reform MPs record of aggression / tax dodging, ...

After the Tory "Get brexit done" party, next one on the plank is the Labour "Make brexit work" party, ... still Farage is managing to escape accountability. It's in the stars (and in the ballot boxes): he will become PM, then we shall see ...

He tells them what they want to hear, primarily absolution from responsibility, by blaming immigrants, foreigners in general and the asylum seekers in particular, for the problems of the country. He speaks with a deep voice, which makes him sound authoritative more than any logic.

Also a woman president, I reckon, was anathema to many, ... indeed both times Trump was elected, the opponent was a woman. It shouldn't be like that but unfortunately it is. I also think that "loss of status" fear (to China, POC, women, ...) resonates with the MAGA call.

Also, the economic powerhouse of the UK are the city's financial services, which have lost some EU based revenue, and the EU, rightly so, seeks to get as much independence as possible from a country where some influential politicians and actors plot its demise.

What is also shocking, is the lack of ideas.

McSweeny will simply tell Starmer to cling to their absurd red lines & that'll be that.
Labour are afraid to lift a finger against right or rw media.
Yet they're perfectly ok to bully the weak & the downtrodden.
Classic bullies, all mouth until they’re faced with someone bigger then they bottle it.
