Forgive me if I am missing something, but what is the source of this?

14+ years since the Volt came out, and we still don't have a truck that can do something similar. Soon, but way too late.

Doesn't this launch seem kinda pointless? They're not building this version of starship anymore, so what's to gain? I don't understand why they don't scrap the rest of these and focus on getting the next iteration flying

So many good parts of Contact (the book) that should've made it into the movie. I was especially surprised at the different endings for Hadden. The book's ending for him was literally the greatest 😄

Fun Fact about the flight: Though it's ~11 minutes long, they get 3-4 minutes of microgravity, and the total time in "space" (above the karman line) is just over one minute.

Do you have any thoughts on Stoke Space's Nova rocket? Could their hydrogen-cooled heat shield be an easier path to rapid reusability versus Starship and it's hinged flap control surfaces?

I didn't make it 20 minutes into this movie, but I would gladly finish it if I could then watch you calmly eviscerate it for another half hour. 😊

Do you think we'll see some freezing on the roads this evening? We're having some friends over near Baltimore (Of course you're invited 😄)

If you have a VR headset, definitely check out Stellarium VR. It's a fantastic way to stargaze during the day
