I agree. The gameplay isn't great, but the story of the season has been really satisfying so far.

I think Dan losing was important and the correct decision. The game is social strategy, not simply "strategy". If it was simply a game of chess Dan would be the best of all time. It's not chess. If you treat people poorly and they don't like it they hold your fate in their hands.
