Here in Boston I almost always ask the driver, where are you from? I get wonderful stories and real community. I tell them: my grandparents were immigrants. I’m glad you’re here.

In my experience with kids running everywhere and exhausting themselves to where they *must* nap, the corollary is that I *must* nap as well. Synchronicity! Reciprocity!
