I am very independent. But my Thanksgiving dinner would not have happened if not for their help. I am grateful for that and less stressed.

I understand that! I didn’t start getting food from food banks until I had maxed out my credit cards, mostly on food. I had to accept that my pride had to take a step back if I was going to survive. I still worry that I am taking food from someone worse off than me, but the food helps so much.
