Job Corps & Americorps abruptly ended. Des was just starting to learn some cool stuff here. Free room/board, meals, help to with DL, culinary certs, prof. skills etc. I have tears in my eyes. 60 yrs just ended like it was nothing. There is nothing like JC. Highly devastating & just not right. 💔

Trump wants to DEFUND Job Corps in 2026. My kid is in Job Corps learning a trade. If you condone this - shame on you. There is nothing else like this program. She’s in culinary/advanced culinary arts. There will be zilch if JC gets shut down. This is extremely distressing, alarming, upsetting.
