Martin Luther King Jr once said, “The arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice.”

While that is reassuring, I think the United States is currently testing the tensile strength of that arc with all the injustice, hatred, and corruption it is piling on.

Quick question. There are still almost as many troops in LA right now as there were at the end of Afghanistan.

Why exactly?

Also where are the mass deportations of white illegals, like from Russia?

There is something so obscene about a political party rallying behind a fucking draft dodger and denying courageous trans people the right to serve their country.

What the fuck, America?

I can’t help recalling how rude and confrontational the Oval Office meeting with the polite and cooperative Zelensky was in contrast with how meekly Trump sat silently while the President of El Salvador mocked the notion of helping Donald abide by a unanimous Supreme Court order.

To everyone who told me to “calm down” in 2016 -

The sociopathic sexual predator business fraud felon you put back in the office he tried to steal just stood in the White House & said that he wants to send American citizens to concentration camps in El Salvador.

So, fuck you.

I find it remarkable, and remarkably indecent, that the 5-justice majority couldn't bring itself to even mention, never mind condemn, the enormous human suffering caused by Trump’s BLATANTLY UNCONSTITUTIONAL deportation of hundreds of people to a dangerous/deadly prison in El Salvador.

2800 people turned out in Youngstown Ohio last night for a town hall with Democratic Minnesota Governor Tim Walz.

Local GOP congressman Michael Rulli won't do events like this with his constituents, so Democrats are doing so in his district:

Justice Sotomayor, writing in today's deportation case. How many times must she write, "With fear for our democracy, I dissent," before Republicans get the point? Perhaps only when, as the poem goes, they come for them.
