I'd love to see how Helen's gun shot wound has been achieved in the Death Becomes Her Broadway show, but haven't found any good clips. In the song Madeline makes the "I can see right through you" joke, so I was wondering if there is something more going on than the usual mirror that cosplayers use.

So I'm a nintendo girl through and through, and I don't really even think the Switch 2 is outrageously expensive or anything. It's just kinda the dvd to blue-ray problem again. Not a big enough improvement to justify buying it, at least not until they release the oled version.

I'm always on the lookout for pet omamoris, this one is from Tokyo's Kanda shrine. I got one for both my chows, and attached them to their harnesses, but sadly they were both lost somewhere in the forest during our walks. I guess that is kind of the nature of amulets though.

Micasadeco ricotta pancakes. They are rich and thick, and quite unlike the airy souffle pancakes of A Happy Pancake or Flipper's.

This is the mixed warayaki tataki plate with katsuo (bonito) and buri (yellowtail). While bonito is the classic, I think yellowtail was the clear winner here. So good.

The other chain Flipper's is the exact opposite, in that their seasonal stuff is always the best, so I always get something different. The pancakes themselves are very similar to those of A Happy Pancake, I can't really pick a favourite.
