I literally feel the same way too 😭

I can't draw complex shapes personally, so if I make a selection I just then press shift and add to the selection

or use the lasso fill tool that CSP has and keep on filling stuff, I have never seen the singular shape one that fills in the any "in-between" parts and keep the outline shape full
