It did, expectation of political impartiality was there and this could sometimes extend as far as affecting things like how the govt's COVID response was portrayed in fictional programming

I know this may not be your sport of choice, but have you been following the developing situation of young men falling into sports gambling on the NFL/NBA in the US these days? The stories are extremely troubling and it feels like the worst is yet to come

Having worked for the BBC, despite not even being in the news division (I worked in production on TV shows) the strictness of editorial standards went well beyond anything that you'd see working for a private production company.

One of the many reasons a first date at a coffee shop / restaurant works well. You can get a measure straight away for how well they treat wait staff, which is usually a very good predictor for overall morals and empathy
