re: benefits of depth in the nba playoffs discourse, i think it may be that the beat front offices are the most adept at player development + smart acquisitions + drafting. thus in the past there may just not have been any front offices this good and only now could we see teams succeed with depth

the trump/musk $5mil visa stunt, should it ever go into effect, would create a crazy industry of loan programs. like with baseball prospects, foreign workers who show early potential would get $$$ up front for the visa and then have their wages garnished for the rest of their lives. won’t be good

i feel like a really underrated nba storyline are teams that have a star player that cannot become a lebron james level conditioning/health freak. in the past few months this has contributed to all the turmoil with morant in memphis and doncic in dallas
