I figured that the desire to push non-delegation and major-questions would combine with financial self-interest here. Or rather, the doctrines they want to push anyway are grate ways to rationalize self-interest.

6/6 The one piece of solace I can give them is that once your data is clean and the process that creates is clean - you will find efficiencies that will make lots of what you do with the data take much less effort.

Some large swath of government data needs cleaning? Knock me over with a feather.
