Hobbying has slowed down due to the two newest (and fussiest) members of the family! Pepper and Pesto were neighborhood cats for a year, but their owners moved away and abandoned them on the street. A call to the Humane Society confirmed that no one was coming back for them, so we adopted them!

Finished up a few pieces of dangerous terrain! In their haste it looks like local forces left behind a few explosive surprises - we’ll be sending in our least important troops to probe these minefields.

Took the pointers in one of @tabletopminions.bsky.social's videos and put up a nice piece of signage on my terrain. Today's skirmish was over abandoned fuel reserves and it set the mood perfectly!

Our first campaign game and it ended in a draw, with only one Chem-Dog out of action as a casualty. A lot of objective pivoting and hastily negotiated cease-fires - having the long-term consequences of a campaign list makes for interesting games!
